My friends are going to get a good laugh out of this post coming from me. Let me tell you, my car is a total pit 95% of the time, but I can’t imagine what it would look like if didn’t have a few tricks and tips up my sleeve for a summer ready car. Most of these tips and tricks can be implemented throughout the entire year or switched out per season, but they are a complete lifesaver for me and my family.
My kids are busy! They move from one activity to the next before I can blink, therefore, it is so hard for me to keep up with them. I decided to clear out a small area in the corner of my living room and create an activity center for them. I added a table with chairs and a small rolling cart. I used a nook sized table and chairs, but if your kiddo’s are small, you could use a miniature sized table and chairs. My rolling cart is from IKEA, but they have similar carts at Target, you can check those out, here. I placed this summer activity center in my living room because they do not like to be in a room where I am not, annoying, but true. I try to take it as a compliment! This fun, summer activity center takes 15 minutes to set up and saves you hours of time digging out supplies and toys for your kiddos throughout the day.
Call me old fashion but I still love using a planner and a pen to jot down all my important dates and appointments. As a busy mom with little ones in tote and older kids in different sports, it is so important to stay organize and have a place to keep all those playdates, games, and appointments. Today I rounded up some of my favorite planners that I love and I am sure you will too! Each planner is slightly different but all would work great for the keeping the busy mom organized.
My kids, ages 4 and 6 (next week), could color and create all day long. I set up this space in our home so that they have constant access to art supplies and it keeps the mess to a small table instead of dozens of toys strewn about the house. Today, I wanted to share some tips on creating an art station in your own home.
