I can’t believe in just a few weeks, the kids will be out of school and we will be officially on summer vacation! I am sure a lot of have traveling plans for the summer and today I am sharing a fun and inexpensive way to document your family travels with a DIY Family Vacation Map.
I picked up this paper map from Paper Source for about $5.00 and I mounted it on a big cork board. Then I purchase these heart shape pins from my local craft store and I was ready to document our travels together as a family. I simply took each pin and mark either the state or city where we all have been. Another fun idea is to use a little bit of washi tape and place it around your pin and you could write what year you went there or if you had any other memories you wanted to document and to add a little extra more fun, I also added a fun car photo we took on our way to Florida last summer. It will be fun after you been doing for a few years to look back and see all the places you have traveled too!
