DIY Gold Pineapple Centerpiece

Need a super easy table centerpiece for a party or something simple for a fun display of flowers?  All you need is a pineapple, some fresh flowers from the garden and gold spray paint!

Moms of Tulsa Pineapple Centerpiece

Pineapples seem to be very popular amongst decorating these days.  At a recent party, I needed a fun way to display flowers as centerpieces, so I decided to paint fresh pineapples with gold spray paint.  After waiting for them to dry, I chopped off the top of the pineapple, used a pineapple coring tool, bought from Amazon, to hollow out the center.  I filled it with water and went outside to cut flowers from my flower beds.  I placed the flowers inside the “pineapple vase”.  This entire project cost was $3, the cost of my pineapple, which I used to make pineapple upside down cake!  You could use bamboo skewers as we did to display names, create flags from scrapbook paper or display photos.  I used my pineapple centerpiece for the inside food table and several for the outside farmhouse table.  Nature is inspiring and so beautiful, so use its beauty!
