DIY Sensory Snow

Since we’ve only had snow one time (thus far) this winter we thought we’d create our own with this DIY sensory snow activity.

DIY Sensory Snow

  • Baking Soda
  • Hair Conditioner
  • A pan or tray for the snow

Step One:   Measure and pour 3 cups of baking soda into your pan.

Step Two:  Pour 1/2 cup of Hair Conditioner into your pan.

Step Three:  Stir thoroughly until the mixture starts to resemble snow

DIY Sensory SnowThen get messy!  Have your kids knead the snow and begin to play.

This activity kept my kiddos busy for well over an hour.  They loved to even bring in cookie cutters and use it like play doh.
