Frozen Playdough

My daughter is Frozen obsessed like every other little girl.  So, when I came across a recipe for Frozen Playdough I just knew we had to test it out.  She absolutely loved it!  Would make a great winter themed project for your Frozen fan!

DIY Frozen Play Dough

1 cup of flour

2 tbs of cream of tartar

1 tbs of oil (I used vegetable)

1/2 cup of salt

1 cup of boiling water

Blue Food Coloring (I used a mixture of teal gel food coloring and regular blue gel food coloring)

Glitter (we used white and silver)

Mix flour, salt, cream of tartar, and oil into a large bowl.

Add 5-10 drops of the food coloring to 1 cup of boiling water.  Add the boiling water and mix well.

* I added my blue food coloring in after the water due to my lack of reading directions.  I am sure it would be much easier to mix when added to water.

Add as much glitter as you like!  I let Ella go to town on this part!

Mix until well combined.  I had to knead the dough a bit to get the food coloring and glitter spread throughout.

Then you’re ready to play!
