St Patrick’s Day Gifts

Giving gifts to family and friends is one of my most favorite things to do. I love to surprise people by dropping little presents on the front porch or mailbox. It doesn’t have to be super expensive or big to make someone happy while reminding the recipient that I am thinking of them. Whether I drop off homemade brownies or a small ‘thinking of you’ gift, it really is the thought that counts. My favorite saying is “throw kindness around like confetti” and I am trying to instill the lesson ‘it really is better to give than to receive’ in my daughter. This year we wanted to surprise our favorite neighbors and friends with a pot of treats for St. Paddy’s Day! These St. Patrick’s Day baskets are the perfect simple and inexpensive green gift for any neighbor, teacher or friend!St PatrickYou really can use anything “green” I was amazed while walking through the aisles of Target and the Dollar Tree at how many green items there are to choose from!  The supplies I used are as follows:

— Green Basket

— Apple Juice

— Lucky Charms

— Goldfish (Rainbow Colors)

— Extra Gum

— St. Patrick’s Day Tattoos

— St. Patrick’s Day Headband / Leprechaun Hat

— Plastic Gold Coins

— Green Bubbles

— Green Slime

**The whole basket cost me about $10 – this is including the basket. Most of the non-perishable items came from the dollar store!**St Patrick

You can arrange the items in your basket as you please… Take it your favorite neighbor’s house, leave it on the front porch, ring the doorbell and run!supply

** I created the LUCKY tag on the site PicMonkey // PicMonkey is a free online editing tool – you can edit photos, add text to pictures, create a photo collage, and so much more… basically the site is a Mama’s best friend! Cheers to going out and making someone’s day!
