Water Gun Painting

I love summer, however, sometimes the days can feel so long and I am always trying to find activities keep my little one busy. This inexpensive and fun water gun activity is an easy way to put a spin on painting with kids!

Supplies Needed:

— Craft (Tempera) Paint

— Canvas

— Water Guns (I got mine from the Dollar Spot at Target)

— Water

— Painter’s Tape / Stencil (optional)

— Old sheet (optional)

Directions:

Mix the paint with water; I did about 50/50 paint/water mix.

Pour the paint/water mixture into the water guns using funnel or measuring cup with a spout. If your little one wants a shape or something alike, use the painter’s tape to make desired design.

Let the fun begin!

Let the canvas water gun painting completely dry, while lying flat before removing painter’s tape or stencil. Make a couple extra, put a bow on it, and place it in the closet to save for a Christmas gift for a loved one!
